Patch Time!!!

Well you have all been waiting for this for a good while! All reported issues with the skin and software have been resolved. I'll be working on the patch for the rest of the night and tomorrow. This one will be a little different than the previous ones as it will be a 2-step process. First you will have to apply the patch itself, which is just a file-rewrite process. Second, you will have to install the skin on top of it.

Note that this is only for the upgrade process! The skin will NOT work without the latest patch!

Once that is out of the way, I will begin work on the new installer. If we get lucky, you'll all get to play with it by tomorrow night.

Oh yes, and the GDK has been completed. The package includes the following:

  • Emoticons
  • Button Set
  • Avatar Set

This will be released along side the skin.

Also, This board has been upgraded using the latest patch utility. Smoothest upgrade ever. Hmf.

The latest patch has been uploaded to the downloads forum. I suggest making sure you're already using the latest build and then make backups of your MyTopix installs. Give the patch a few test runs first if at all possible and please report any issues within this announcement's corresponding discuss topic.
